To offer Diploma and Certificate Courses in Non-formal, Adult and Lifelong Education as well as in Population Education.

To provide attachments for internship to national as well as overseas students.

To do research in the area of Non-formal, Adult and Lifelong Education as well as Population Education.

To extend expertise of the University for development of the individual and the community through need-based as well as innovative educational initiatives.
